And ironicaly Montag has started to question his job and the reasons why he is burning books. Also at the very end of the book Montag reveals his secret to Mildred and she tries to burn the books. Fahrenheit 451 Post

I have started to read this book with my class and have already read 72 pages of it. Already im sort of confused with what is going on in the book. I have a little bit of what has happened so far. So in Fahrenheit 451 so far in the book a man named Montag has a job as a fireman, but there is a catch, he doesnt stop fires from spreading and putting them out, he starts them. Also in this sosciety in the future it is illegal to read or even posses a book, so it's Montag's job as a fireman to burn books and the building they were kept in. One evening as he was going down his normal route, with jet cars flying past him he turns a corner to find a teenage girl. This girl is unique in the book she changes the way Montag looks at the books and the government. Her name is Clarrise McClellan, she isnt like other kids and go to school and do what the government says to do, she does what she wants to do. So after meeting her Montag walks inside his house to find his wife Mildred on thier bed with an empty pill container next to her.

So Montag does what anyone eles would have done and called the hospital. After an hour of pumping her stumach and her blood and giving her new blood the doctors leave. The next day Mildred wakes up  and doesnt know what had happened that night. After a long explanation of what had happened Montag left for work. While at work they get a call and in five minutes they are off to destroy some books. But when they get there after soaking everything in carocine the lady that lived there would'nt leave and so the fireman chief started to count down from ten. But instead of leaving the lady took out a match from her pocket and stroke it, in five seconds the house was burning. But while they were inside Montag sliped a book under his arm and got in the truck. When Montag got home he slipped it under his pillow.
